Hale Street Link

Construction of Brisbane's latest traffic bridge is rapidly moving ahead with works evident in the river and at the bridge connections in Milton and South Brisbane.

The approved design is a four-lane cross-river connection for vehicles and dedicated separate cycle and pedestrian crossings from Coronation Drive and Hale Street in Milton to Montague Road, Merivale and Cordelia streets in South Brisbane.

Hale Street Link also includes an overpass on Coronation Drive, allowing a free flow effect on traffic travelling outbound from the city.
