The Alliance

Brisbane City Council awarded Hale Street Link Alliance (HSLA) the contract for the design and construction of Go Between Bridge in May 2007.

HSLA is a truly global effort comprising of a multidisciplinary team of professionals representing a combination of international and Australian companies.

The Alliance vision

The Hale Street Link Alliance will build a landmark, inner city bridge to enhance accessibility and liveability in Brisbane.

	Brisbane City Council's Long Term Infrastructure Plan - First Edition 2007 identified the city's projected growth would place significant stress on the operation and management of the transport network. The Transport Plan for Brisbane outlines Brisbane City Council's approach to dealing with the transport challenges ahead. Go Between Bridge and other TransApex projects will play an important role in the future of Brisbane's traffic network.
	Bouygues Travaux Publics (Bouygues TP) is part of the construction arm of French company Bouygues, which specialises in tunnel, bridge, water treatment plant and marine construction works. Bouygues TP will bring global experience in delivering major infrastructure to Go Between Bridge.
	Macmahon is a major Australian owned public company, operating in the contract mining and construction sectors. The HSLA will draw upon Macmahon's diverse civil infrastructure capabilities to construct the various land and marine based bridge structures.
	The Seymour Whyte Group is based in Brisbane and includes Seymour Whyte Constructions, SWC Building and Seymour Whyte Projects. Seymour Whyte services include all aspects of transport infrastructure construction and major structures, such as earthworks and roadworks, bridgeworks construction and extensive experience in traffic management.
	Hyder Consulting is a leading professional services consultancy offering multi discipline planning, design and environmental services. Hyder is the lead designer for Go Between Bridge and brings to the team strong experience in the design and verification of bridges and associated road works.
